Cozymel

What a great day!! First of all ... I got to sleep in until 11:15!! That hasn't happened since I came here. I've either had trainings or early work schedules! My friend Adrian has mentioned last night he was done working at 11:30 today so we hit the streets of Cozymel. We were starving so he took me to a Chinese restaurant! Boy was it delicious. Here is a picture of our food ... lets just say it was way better than Panda Express. =)

After our stomachs were full we headed to downtown Cozymel. Our first stop was at a little Catholic church, since Adrian is Catholic. Although it was not an LDS church, it still felt good to be in a church after 4 weeks. I so bad wanted to take pictures but knew that would have been inappropriate. After leaving the church, we ran into some fun people by the beach.

These guys were singing and dancing so of course I had to stop and take a picture. Here are some pictures of places we saw and gorgeous backgrounds we found today. While we did not go anywhere exciting or go on any excursions, today was the perfect, relaxing day that I needed.

Oh how beautiful it was! I was waiting for the rain to hit with those clouds in the background but luckily the rain never came.


For some reason this reminds me of a mermaid. Just behind this is the ocean ... and lets just say it was breathtaking!

Because I had to be to work at 4, we headed back to the ship around 2:30. We stopped at a little sandy beach to relax a few more minutes before returning back to reality.

Home sweet home!

Today was amazing! I am so grateful to have this opportunity to meet all the people I have met and to travel the places I have. Look for more pictures to come this week. Hope to hear from all of you soon.
