What a roller-coaster of a week! If you would have asked me the first couple days I was here, I never thought I would enjoy it. The past few days have been so awesome! I am loving working with the kids and interacting with them (even though some of them can be quite rotten). There is a ton of learning to do as far as paperwork and registering and doing payments. Last week was our Easter Caribbean route and this week will be out Western Route, making stops in Cozumel, Belize, and Costa Maya. Do to my work schedule, I won't be getting of the ship very much on port days. I'll probably spend the morning of port days laying out by the pool on ship (I know, I know, its rough). Here is a recap of this week. I had a lot of training. The first two days were pretty much nothing but training. Towards the middle of the week I finally got to be with the kids. I was primarily with the 2-5s. They are crazy! We had to autistic kids, one of which was a handful. We also had to biters (one of them even bit me). Its amazing how fast I bonded with some of the kids. I was sad to see them leave last night. The good thing about this job is that I only have my kids for a week; however, it is super sad to see some of them go. One of my two year olds completely melted my heart. She reminded me a lot of my niece Molly so I immediately bonded with her. Here are a few more pictures to entertain you until next time ....
Here is a picture of my ship ... yes ... it is very big!
Yes ... its beautiful ... and did I mention big?
Its nights like these that remind me of why I took this job.
Here is the Honky Tonk Bar we went to in St. Martin. Love it!
Oh my Amy! What a GREAT experience! And the views are AMAZING!
