I cannot believe two weeks have come and gone already. Time is really flying by. I have been kept extremely busy, which is always a good thing. Last week I was on the day shift, which sadly meant that I couldn't get off at any ports, except Costa Maya. Lets just say Thursday could not come soon enough. While I love life here on the ship, it is definitely vital to get one's time away from the ship. After going out one night last week, Tony Fresh and I wet walked around the ship taking pictures everywhere. Its nice to have a friend here that I can just chill with and laugh with. He reminds me a lot of my friends back home, which is always comforting.
Just got done dancing at The Disco
What do you think of my new boyfriend? Hot huh?
The Playroom where I spend everyday is just under that HUGE movie screen ..
WATCH OUT TONY!
Like I said earlier, Thursday I was able to get off ship at Costa Maya. I went with Erika around the part right off the port. It was a perfect, relaxing day! The weather was gorgeous and best of all, I was not working!
This is the distant view of where we spent the day. Gorgeous right?
This is an actual pool that people swim in during the day. By noon this place was packed with guests. Not a bad set up though ...
Gone a little crazy after being on ship for 4 days straight!
You can always find a Senor Frogs!
Hot Mamma =)
Working on a cruise will teach you many things, one of the most important being the importance of friendship. It is amazing how fast people here become so close. Being here makes me miss everyone back home greatly though and makes me sad that I didn't cherish all of the memories we had together more. It is amazing how much of daily life I took for granted. For example, the ability to pick and head to Wal-Mart whenever I wanted. I now have to plan two to three weeks ahead of time to make sure I will not run out of this or that because I never know if my schedule will permit me to go to Wal-Mart on Saturdays. Another thing I miss is good food. Its funny, when I came here I told myself I was going to spend hardly any money on food because I can get it for free on the ship. Let me tell you though, the food in the crew mess is nothing special. Everyone jumps at the opportunity to get off ship so we can get some good food. This all being said, I still love it here. The stress-free life of after-work hours is amazing! I hope this update finds everyone well and happy. Miss you all and hope to hear from you soon!!
